Favorite Favors

Clients often ask me if I have any ideas for wedding favors. There's always the traditional ones: candy (in little containers or bars of chocolate with the couple's name on it), bells (to ring during the reception for the bride and groom to kiss), bubbles (to shower them as they leave the reception). engraved classes, miniature picture frames, cd's with the couple's favorite music, etc. Then there's the the untraditional ones......my favorite!

I'm a huge believer in carrying a theme through from beginning to end. I think that a theme unifies an event and gets your guests excited to attend. The theme should start with the save-the-date (printed and/or digital) and carry thru to the thank you (printed and/or digital). Colors should be chosen at the beginning and be reflected in everything.

Your wedding or other special occasion should be a reflection of the hosts - who you are, what you like to do, and some of your favorite things. Your favors should be chosen with this in mind so that your guests leave with a little piece of you.

Your favors can become an elegant part of your decorations and create beautiful table tops.

Whether you decide to buy, create yourself, or hire someone to create it for you, make sure your favors bring back fond memories of your event!
